All readers are invited to sign up and write for vee8. Just follow these steps to start contributing.

(N.B. You don’t have to register to leave a comment, only to write a post that appears on the front page.)

Register

First of all, you will have to register. You will find the link at the top of every page just underneath the search box. Or you can just follow this link. Remember, when you sign up you have to leave your real email address because your password will be emailed to you.

Check your email

Your password will be emailed to you. Follow the link in the email to log in. Alternatively, use the link at the top of each page (next to the registration link).

Edit your details

Look at the very top right-hand corner of the page for the ‘My Profile’ link. Clicking this will allow you to edit your details. Remember to fill in your website address if you have got one as that way you will automatically get a plug whenever you write a post.

Write away!

Look in the tabs across the light blue section near the top of the page. Select the ‘Write’ tab to start writing your post. Hit ‘Publish’ to submit your post. I will approve it when I get the chance.

A couple of things to bear in mind

Writing a post for vee8 is as simple as that. However, there are a few guidelines that I would like you to meet, and a couple of things you should be aware of.

First of all, your post will not automatically appear when you submit it. It has to be approved by me before it appears on the website. This is just so that I can check all submitted posts, just to make sure that they are well written and so on.

Also, I would prefer it if you avoid topics that have recently been covered. If you have something to say about a recent topic, just leave a comment in the relevant thread.

Other than that, all posts are very much welcome!
