- It was Fisichella who was knocked out. Didn’t really see what happened, he had a tussle in turn 1 #
- Alonso is in 5th ahead of Raikkonen in 6th. The Williams was Nakajima which has lost its front wing. Sutil needs a new front wing #
- This was totally Fisichella’s fault - he completely forgot to brake! What on earth was that about? #
- Alonso’s start was fantastic - his move on Raikkonen in turn 1 through to turn 2 was brilliant #
- FOM bring us - for the first time - a camera view from *inside* the Safety Car. Nice work #
- Kovalainen has pitted - but why? #
- Raikkonen re-takes Alonso, and he made it look really easy. That Ferrari is such an awesome car #
- Gutted that Nakajima has retired. I’m in a minority, but I rate him. This crash was all Fisichella’s fault. #
- Kovy and Sutil touched while Kovy overtook - that’s Kovy’s second tap of the race after Kimi hit him on lap 1 #

- Alonso was disappointingly light. I thought he’d be able to make a few more laps than this #

- Now Raikkonen leads and is setting the fastest laps. He was, as I suspected, heavier than his rivals #

- Kovy takes Glock at last. And Glock gets him back! Incredible! #

- While that was happening, Piquet was also attempting to pass Button but it didn’t stick #
- Now Piquet makes it stick again, at the same portion of the circuit. And Kovy gets Button on the pit straight! #
- You have to hand it to Tilke, those last few corners of the circuit are *brilliant* for overtaking #
- Keith on liveblog that the FIA has - rightly - reacted quite strongly to the incident in GP2 where dogs were on the track. #
- It’s worth remembering that Bernie Ecclestone owns this circuit! Whoops #

- A lot now comes down to which is worse between a McLaren on softs or a Ferrari on hards. Massa has lost a lot of pace #
- Has Massa’s race been ruined by his relatively long third stint? Raikkonen comes into the pits now #
- Hamilton still has to pit - can he maximise the length of time he remains on the hard tyres that suit his car? #

# - Heidfeld has had a good race. He’s made four positions from the start, more than anyone else #
- Hamilton is 5.1 seconds down on the final lap, so he can’t win now. But he has to keep an eye on Kimi, who is just 0.7s behind #
- Massa wins! His third Turkish GP victory in a row! #
- Hamilton is 2nd, with Kimi 3rd. #
- Kubica and Heidfeld make up a BMW 4-5. A good day also for Red Bull - Webber 7th, Coulthard 9th #
- Toyota will be disappointed. After a couple of good races, Trulli could only make 10th, while Glock is 13th #
- Kovalainen had a heroic drive which was ruined a bit by a 3 stop strategy. He finished 12th #
- Ron Dennis is saying that the 3 stop strategy was for "safety" reasons - "internal delaminations" apparently #
- Well that was a great race if you ask me. One of the best I’ve seen for a while; certainly the best this year so far #
- Will someone please give David Croft some cough medicine? The poor man has been hacking away since the start of the season #
- Just been watching some replays. That turn 1 accident was really dangerous. Fisi climbed right on top of Nakajima. Could have been nasty #
